The island is just "in the city" but it has a very unique atmosphere and resembles something out of different dimension. I love the peace and quiet there.

Visited at night to see the John Lennon Imagine Peace memorial. Very quiet and serene. Tour guide Tess was very informative.

No. There are no cars AT ALL. Which makes the island really peaceful.There are very clearly marked walking paths. It is a bit windy so make sure to bring hat/ear protection.
