Such a brilliant day snorkelling with Scuba Iceland. Our tour guide Victor was friendly and polite and went out of his way to ensure that we enjoyed our day! The photos we purchased were brilliant and the hot chocolate and cookies after our swim were the perfect finish to the day. Thank you Scuba Iceland for making our day one... More

Booked the Scuba diving with Scuba Iceland, and I can highly recommend them. If you are PADI certified, then I recommend the experience of diving between 2 tetonic plates in crystal clear water. If you aren't certified, then I'd recommend this company for the snorkeling. Very professional company

Despite all the good reviews, I am disappointed that me and my partner did not enjoy this experience one bit. Having no experience with snorkeling/diving, plus the fact I have mild anxiety, I wasn't sure about this excursion, but the positive reviews and tour description stating the difficulty level as 'easy', put my mind at rest, and we 'took the... Easily the best experience I had in Iceland. Booked up through the tourist office and the pick up and drop off was easy and punctual. The drive out of Reykjavik was pretty and a nice break from the urban environment. On getting to the site we all changed into decent quality drysuits etc and then walked over to the dive... More

My partner and i have just come back from this trip. Top of the bucket list was to snorkel between the two continents. Dream came true and some! Was a perfect day for it. Viktor picked us up on time and he was a great guide. My partner isn't a confident swimmer but Viktor eased his mind. The water is... More

Our guide Richard was really really good and knowledgeable. He also helped us one by one with the dry suits, because they are quite a pain to put on! And briefed us well prior to getting into the cold water. It's a great company to go with if you're either going to snorkel or dive at the silfra. Overall it... More

ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!!! Our guide was amazing and unbelievably chill. Pick-up and drop-off from the hotel to the fissure was a breeze. The gear is great and keeps you warm. Ladies, be aware that your hair will get wet, but the rest of your clothing stays 100% dry. You have the opportunity to purchase the pictures from you... More

Originally doing a dry suit course with another dive centre, but the dry suit leaked so i couldnt finish the course. upon disappointment, i found Scuba Iceland from Trip Advisor, and did a snorkel trip in Silfra with them. ( and i really wish i could have stayed another day to finish the dry suit course with them...) I emailed... More

My wife and I thought our guide/instructor Astrid was great! She put everyone at ease, and was very knowledgeable about the tectonic plate area we snorkeled in. The location is beautiful and amazing! To think of where you are swimming is a little mind blowing. You have a few choices of tour operators at the site but, I believe you... More

When traveling rarely do you get the opportunity to immerse yourself in something COMPLETELY different. In Iceland you have floating glaciers but so does Patagonia, exploding geysers as does New Zealand but nowhere in the world can you dive between 2 continents. The silfra dive takes you between the Eurasian and North American continent. Two tectonic plates ripped apart in... More
