We decided to book our honeymoon to Iceland through Nordic Visitor, and it was such an awesome experience! I normally like to plan my own trips, but this being our honeymoon, I wanted it to be stress-free. The weather was unpredictable and changed our plans a few times, but our travel consultant, Marko, was amazing at keeping us in the loop and finding new options for us when the weather made some of our tours no longer possible. Even with the changes, this was still one of the best trips I've ever been on. Marko made everything easy on us - we just had to show up and for the most part, everything else was taken care of. I would highly recommend using Nordic Visitor and Marko Puskas for your next trip to Iceland!

The tour was comprehensive and inclusive of all the Iceland highlights.
Travel, food, hotels, were all nice, comfortable and of quality.
Our guide, Dagur, was very special. Insightful stories and engaging Nordic folklore made for more interesting travel.
A wonderful and worthwhile tour!
Definitely, recommend this to all travelers interested in a land based trip.

So pleased we took the Northern Lights Circle tour and were fortunate to have Dagur as our guide. We saw so many spectacular waterfalls, icebergs, hot springs, northern lights, and experienced the overall beauty of the island. I highly recommend having a guide. Dagur was a local and shared the history, sagas, and stories of Iceland as well as his personal experiences which gave us the best insight into the local culture.

The tour was very well organised and even with the impending volcano eruption Nordic Visitor managed the bookings that were affected amazingly. Iceland is a magnificent place to visit, and we had an amazing time.

I was in Iceland for a week with friends and we went on the small group “Winter highlights and Northern lights” tour. The sites we visited were absolutely beautiful and our guide, Hávar was wonderful. He has great knowledge about Icelandic history and nature and went out of his way to stop in less touristic spots while on the road so the group could enjoy the amazing views with less people around. He also gave us very good recommendations for activities and places to visit in the additional days we stayed after the tour. I can’t thank Hávar enough for making this trip one of my best as well as the team at Nordic visitor who did an amazing job assisting my friends and I with last minute activity changes and accommodating for dietary requirements for the days on the road.

We booked the 6 day Glacier Lagoon and Northern Lights 6 day self drive package and had a fabulous holiday. Nordic arranged airport pick ups, car hire, hotels and suggested itinerary. Everything went smoothly and all to a high standard. Clarence and his team at Nordic were very helpful and responsive and provided an extensive travel pack on arrival. Our highlight was the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach but the scenery is breathtaking and Iceland is a lovely country to visit with everyone so friendly. We would love to go back to see more and would highly recommend Nordic Visitor if you are travelling to Iceland.

The arrangements by Frank and Bonnie at Nordic Visitor were top notch. We added a few days both on the front and back end. They made those additional arrangements no problem. We loved the Golden Circle tour, the City Walk, the South Iceland tour, so on and so on. When we plan our next travels to Northern Europe we’ll definitely consider Nordic Visitor to handle all the arrangements! Tusen takk Nordic Visitor team….

Nordic Visitor was the perfect choice for our trip! I could not ask for a better tour guide, Aron Hinriksson. Aron was very informative, extremely respectful, and kind....just an overall down to earth and delightful person. We really enjoyed getting to know him, hear his own personal experiences, and seeing pride for his country. The tour was very well structured and purposeful. We spent just enough time at each location (not feeling rushed nor too drawn out). At no point in time did I feel unsafe. I did not have to worry about transportation, hotel stay, or food while on the tour. Substitutions were easily made for people with food allergies. It truly was an enjoyable experience filled with amazing sites and scenery. Thank you!

Our tour with Nordic Visitor was so breathtaking! Everything was absolutely beautiful in Iceland and the tour itself was so organized. Our tour guide Aron Hinriksson was beyond amazing! He was so kind, caring, informative, and personable. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and always provided us with facts, and stories. Would definitely do this tour again and again and again! 20/10

Just returned from the Northern Lights Circle Tour. To say it checked all the boxes would be an understatement. Slick roads, cloudy skies, et.al. :-) It was a wonderful trip and itinerary. Our guide, Havar was excellent. Knowledgable and engaging. The sites are spectacular. Saw the lights our last night. We accused Havar of arranging it that way to build suspense. NordicVisitor arranged a few additional excursions to round out our trip. The group (15) were like family at the end of the trip. Cannot imagine a better tour.

What are the self driving road conditions in mid-March, are the roads cleared, or icy and snowy? We've driven in the winter before but it's been a while. Thinking of a 8-10 day self drive around the ring circle road. Or would you recommend a small group tour instead, smaller the better? And how would we get the covid test on the tour 72 hours in advance of our flight back to USA? Thanks...

If you travel with Nordic Visitor you will have your own rental car, lodging and custom guide books &maps. Your route will be planned out so that you will not miss the best sights in whatever areas you chose to visit. Your Covid test will be taken care of also...all you need to do is get yourself to the facility. Nordic Visitor makes it all so easy. I do not recommend traveling to Iceland in March. The only times without wind, excessive rain and ice are the summer months. Even May is dicey!

My husband and I are planning a trip through NV to Scotland. Can anyone give insight to accommodations. I am curious if the superior is worth the price increase. I want it to be nice, but I know there will not be a lot of time spent in the room.

For tours with some included dinners, will there be any problem if I don't eat beef, lamb and lobster?

There is no problem for any dietary you have. The tour consultant will ask you on what food you cannot take a month before your departure through email. You can let them know also before hand also. I personally don't take lamb, event they are very famous of it. They have the meals arranged to artic char (similar to salmon) for me. If you have any questions, you can ask them through their live chat, or u can email to them and they will reply you quite promptly.

How active is the guided tour? (natural wonders of Iceland). We’d like to take the guided tour to have the guide/driver but we also like to have a good hike which isn’t always possible with a group. Is it basic walking or some good hiking?

Mainly walking. Ask the agency before booking regarding time to have, cost for a private guide to go hiking is my suggestion.

Help we have booked a car with rental cars website Iceland the car was booked with pro car with a deposit of 50pounds they have cancelled the booking and charged 50 pounds for this we are now without a car any one else had this issue
