Pretty cool building. I liked that you could walk inside and have a look around and take pictures. It probably will not be the most stunning piece of architecture you have ever seen but it will be a really lovely addition to any self-guided city...More

This a building does not look like much from the outside but once you enter it is awesome. Glass everywhere and access to the top floor where the views over the city and harbour are tremendous. Do not leave Reykjavik without visiting this place.

This is an interesting piece of architecture with colorful inside and outside views of the window walls but its just a large open building that visitors and workers wander about aimlessly in vast spaces. Tours are offered on a limited basis at best and there...More

Beautiful - the windows and the views are worth the visit alone. Tours are available for a price - we just wanted to wander around and soak it up. The cafe inside was very nice as was the inside market. The architecture was amazing.

This is certainly an architectural must see, we spent an age wandering up and down the stair cases, looking at the changes in view, the way the glass "crystals" line up in an infinite view. We were lucky enough to see someone having a private...More

Wow, we were entranced by the Opera House. It is so impressive, so unusual, and so captivating! We went during "daylight" (dead of winter) when it was snowing, and then returned in the darkness (early evening after dinner). Worth going twice, as the lighting interacts...More
