It was wonderful and unusual! Weather is no matter in this jorney, because it is sooo exciting! Hiking road to the volcano is very simple. We got raining coats not to get wet. Going down into volcano was little bit scary and the same time...More

This tour was totally worth it. It was a cold, windy (20m/sec), and rainy day, but all the folks involved helped make it a special, educational, unique experience for us. Gudmundur, our guide, was especially fantastic. We were treated well, fed, and got a once...More

We did this tour in June. You have to walk for about 40 minutes from the starting building to the Basecamp. The walk can be windy. They provide a long raincoat that goes down to your mid calf. That helps to break the wind and...More

I almost cried. What an opportunity! I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. The superlative adjectives for this magnificent place do not exist. Do not miss if you can afford.

This experience is worth every penny. It is amazing to go into a volcano and see what is inside this unique structure. We had great, friendly guides. I was nervous about going down but it is not scary at all and we felt very secure.

Make sure you are ready for a hike (no way it is 2 miles) and maybe in the rain with a long slicker on. Wear hiking boots and BE CAREFUL!!!
