10 mins. from downtown Reykjavik - small groups - you won´t get lost in the crowd - personal service - riding lesson with a professional rider on the horses before taking off on the tour - unusual landscape - horses trained by a World Champion! Nobody can beat this service! Ride with the best of the best in Iceland and come to iHorse! The tour takes you through a 4700 year old lava field on the outskirts of Reykjavik. The view is amazing mountain views, lava formations, moss covered lava rocks, view of lake Elliðavatn and Reykjavik in the background. This is an experience like no other because these pseudocraters which you see in the lava field that formed when lava ran through Reykjavik thousands of years ago can only be found in Iceland and on planet Mars!

This place is great! Small tours and very personal experience. If this is what you want, stay away from the others who have lots of horses and get booked by the big tour operators!! Elin, the guide was fab! We booked a 1,5hr tour and...More

Loved it! As a novice rider I felt perfectly safe on their beautiful and gentle Icelandic horse, "Aron". Helga, one of the owners, gave riding instructions both before and during the ride which was really helpful. The scenery was gorgeous- red lava fields and tons...More

The owner of my hostel recommended that I book a tour with iHorse instead of their usual booking company. I am so glad that I chose to listen to him. Our group consisted of only 4 travelers and 2 guides rather than the 30+ we...More
