Our favorite bar of our trip! Their atmosphere and craft beer list cannot be beat! We went for a flight and some extra pints. So so good! If you can only visit one spot for craft beers then this is your place!
Cool little basement bar that isnt all that easy to find from the street. We had to drag it out of the bartender but we got what we came for. If you are a newbie to Iceland, do yourself a favor and get a shot...More
We came here twice during our week in Reykjavik. The draft menu was extensive and varied. While the beers were somewhat more pricey here, they had a few happy hour specials and a very friendly/knowledgable staff. The bar is downstairs in a very cozy cellar-like...More
The micro bar was an awesome stop on our trip. They had a great selection of both draft and bottle beers. Good place to do a flight. Our bartender Victor was fun, knowledgeable and just awesome. If you love beer, don't miss this stop.
I really enjoyed my visit to this hidden gem. The beer was decent, the company was nice, and OMG the olives. (I love bar olives hah)
Come, relax and let the day stress dissolve with a few beers. =)

Located in a cellar of a restaurant, this place was hard to find. Luckily we found it. They have decent selection of beers, mainly locally or Icelandic beers. The waiter knew what he was doing. Whole milieu was nice.

I'm a woman here by myself now. I met another young woman at the bus station and we walked into town together at 6am. I met another solo traveler during a walking tour. I would say your daughter should and will feel comfortable everywhere here. I like to travel by myself but this is a place that even a first time solo traveler will feel comfortable. Everyone is really nice. That isn't to say that she shouldn't use common sense, because everyone should. But here in Reykjavik and throughout Iceland she will be able to have a great time without too much worry.
