As other reviews have mentioned before, this is not your typical brewery tour. We spent about 8 minutes of the 2 hours in the actual brewery and the rest of the time in a board room drinking beer and learning about the complicated history of...More

My husband and I visited the brewery. We were dubious at the cost of it but were very surprised at the amount we were given to drink and plenty of nachos to eat. Happy, the chap talking to us was very entertaining and good at...More

Our Brewery tour was a blast. We had an energetic, funny and engaging guide (Anna) who kept us drinking and laughing the entire time with her stories of Iceland and its unique history with alcohol. The drinks and the company were great. She made sure...More

This is far from the typical brewery tour. You do get to go through the warehouse and brewery areas, but these are relatively short. Not a lot of time is devoted to the processes of brewing, and more is devoted to a history of alcohol...More

I went on this tour my first night in Iceland, and it was great. Anna, our host, was very warm and friendly. It's not really a brewery tour as much as a tasting experience. It may also be the cheapest, most fun way to get...More

An unexpected delight. Rather than just trudging through the brewery with the usual tasting at the end, we were treated to a fun historical journey through Iceland's unique relationship with alcohol through the ages. Anna, our guide, was brilliant. Beers, of many varieties were generously...More

First time I experienced a brewery tour and it was so amazing. A lot of icelandic drinking history joined together with tasting different beers. Silvia, tour guide, was great and very personable. Recommend it to everyone and Silvia should get a raise!
