I visited the Bio Paradis last September and have been meaning to leave a review ever since. The fact that I felt it was important enough to come back and do that now, after so much time has elapsed, surely speaks volumes about what a...More

We visited on a Friday night for the party-cinema. It was awesome. They were showing Legally Blonde and beer was allowed in the cinema. It was an unusual experience, people cheering when something cool happened in the movie and no fuss around people chatting a...More

Wow, was recommended to go to this cinema by a friend. What a find! Not too expensive, fabulous films and great atmosphere. Check it out! Tell your friends - this is a great independent cinema with superb art house films.

First off, the name has nothing to do with `biological` or organic foodstuffs - Bíó is the Icelandic word for `cinema`. I chanced upon the place during my recent holiday and attended no less than 5 films in a 7-day stay. The venue is open-plan,...More

The local cinema. It has 3 screens of varying size. They show local films as well as independent films. The entrance hall has plenty of seating and also free wifi. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Hot and cold drinks available, and popcorn.
