Most US flights land very early in the morning. The walking tour is a great way to get acclimated to the city. Villimey is so welcoming and knows all things Reykjavik. Highly recommend this tour.

Alma was informative, friendly and gave us a great introduction to “her” Reykjavík. Her recommendations for city highlights were spot on. Thank you I Heart Reykjavík.

We found this tour to be a fun and informative way to get a taste of Reykjavik on our first day while we waited for our room to be ready.

My kids (ages 13, 11, 11) and I went on this 2-hour walking tour of Reykjavik, pretty much immediately getting off the airplane, having slept "overnight" only about 3 hours. It turned out to be the perfect introduction to Iceland. Villamay was our tour guide...More

This tour company doesn't claim to give historical tours, but you do get some history and the mix is good. They primarily deliver on making the city feel personable and real. It's a true family affair as my tour guide was one of the owner's...More

did the walking tour on our last day and found it insightful/interesting. we had day excursions every day so we didn't get to see much of reykjavik until then. the guide (the BF, now husband) was very knowledgeable too.
