This was a wonderful concert, put on by a world class orchestra in a world class concert hall. The performance was polished and the conductor exuded enthusiasm. Beethoven's 7th symphony was masterfully executed. The guest artist, Evgeny Sudbin, did a beautiful job with a Mozart...More

The HARPA concert hall and conference centre is imaginatively designed and well worth a visit as it also has market stalls selling Icelandic goods.

I booked a ticket for the symphony's rehearsal on the Friday night series and loved it. It was only one hour long, but it gave me a taste of their performance and the acoustics of Harpa, the newish concert hall. The lead violinist stopped twice...More

Not only is the building a lovely space to enjoy but my friend and I found out you can watch the Iceland symphony rehearse here. It's $1900isk and extremely worth it. The music is just gorgeous and the experience is priceless.
