Along the drive down to Seyðisfjörður you can pull over into a designated parking area and walk (2 mins) to the falls. It's a nice stop to take some pictures and the waterfall itself is very nice.

Just close to the road, not really something special but we stopped here and took some pictures. If it is not raining just stop here.

It’s so easy to pull in and grab an eye full of a lovely waterfall as you drive up the hill. About 50m from a lay-by it’s no stress to take a couple of minutes out of your day to enjoy.

Gulufoss is right off the road on the way to seydisfjordour. Well worth the stop and short walk. Bring a life snack and enjoy the solitude.

This waterfall is right on the road as you are making a descent into Seydisfjordur. You park and walk less than a minute and you are there, so it is worth a quick photo stop. If you feel more adventurous. I believe you can hike...More

It is worth stopping to take a picture and if a driving pause is needed walking down to the falls. The car park view is good enough in a country with a number of waterfalls.

This waterfall is one of the many along the Waterfall Trail that runs along Route 93 and Fjarðará, the river running down to the fjord in Seydisfjordur. Four of us took a cab from town to a plateau that's about 1000 feet above town, and...More
