Beautiful blue and clean water. Its overcrowded and the people renting chairs and umbrellas are extremely unfrendly. Would recommend it anyway because it's a nature beauty!

Very pretty, I imagine lovely at night when all of the tourists have left (and burger vans closed up!). If you like package holidays and being crammed in with other people then you probably won't mind it. We decided to go on a segway tour...More

The blue lagoon is such an amazing area. We travelled in may and it was busy, although apparently in the height of summer there can be 7000 people just at blue lagoon, the beach area is very small and you can rent a deck chair....More

The lagoon is too beautiful for words, a miracle of nature. It seems a privilege to swim in that amazing turchese color water. Although we were there on the 5th of May, it was very crowded, can't imagine how that's like in the summer.

This beach is amazing, I would recommend getting the early ferry to find the right place for you. The earlier you go the clearer the sea is.

Hi, We are off to Malta, from Vancouver, BC. In June. We will go to the Blue Lagoon and I am now looking for a boat tour. Who did you use and do you have to book ahead of time or did you just go somewhere and get on a boat? Did you swim at the Lagoon? Thanks for any info you may have for me. Linda
