Go in the morning, the afternoons are too hot and too busy. The walled streets hold the heat so take plenty of water. The place is full of history. You have to pay to visit the museums, prison and cathedral, get your ticket from the...More

Superb walls and you can walk around a lot if it unlike in Mdina. Superb views all around, plenty to see and do and easily enough to keep you occupied for a good part of the day. It costs 5 euros to get into the...More

The Citadel was such a great piece of history and is maintained so nicely. The view from the top was amazing and the small restaurant near the top was really cute.

Really worth seeing. The view from the walls is amazing - you can go around and see almost entire island. Mius - all museums in the citadell are paid, most of the separately, 5-10 EUR each. The entry to the citadell itself is free of...More

Yes, you can walk around the citadel at night, in fact it is a lovely time to see it, as there are no tourists around. The lights of various towns can be seen on Gozo which is also great to see. We wandered up there after... More

There's a small car park at the top of the hill next to the wall, very close to the entrance. We paid around 2€ for as long as we wanted.

Reference should be ok but check with the agent. He should have given you a phone number. Or ask your hotel to check.
