If you like hard French cheese such as comte and beaufort, this place deserves a visit. I got cheese and sausage to take back with me; these can be vacuum packed (sous vide) at 20 cents/item. They also stock local chocolate bars, meat, wine, juice, soup and other goodies. I find the prices much much more reasonable than those from... More

The cheese in this market has been made by the agricultures of the same region. The cheeses have amazing tastes and the yoghurt (for the people who don't like cheese) are absolutely excellent!!! If you are looking for top quality local cheeses from the farm and not mass produced and don't have time to go the the farmer's market on Place du Mont Blanc on Saturday morning then this is the place to go.
