We were approached off the bus by a vendor. We were interested in a hop on hop off and the vendor from this company told us this bus was "the same" as the other company (being the REAL hop on hop off). We paid 7.50 euro each and that was the only reason I rated them 2 stars vs 1.... More

These busses are a great way to explore Malta. You can stop at several interesting locations such as the capital city Valletta, the old city Mdina and the Blue Grotto. Make sure to take the bus before 12 am because the last bus leaves the start of the tour at 15:00 and arrives at around 18:00 so you'll have not... More

We bought (rather expensive) 2 day tickets for me and my husband. The first day we wanted to visit Valetta, which took around an hour and a quarter to reach. The audio was out of time with the location of the bus, so when they are telling you to look at something on the right, for example, we had either... More

Unlike many other reviewers, we were lucky to sit on a bench with working audio jacks. But the drive itself was not so pleasant, since either roads or properties of the bus made us feel very unpleasantly all bumps on the road. We sat on the first row, so we were a little bit sheltered by the front glass, but... More

I'm glad we didn't pay the full €20 initial asking price for this very dated hop on hop off bus tour. We haggled down to €15 which if you ask me is still too much. The buses are old, some of the seating is broken, about half of the plugs for the commentary do not work and it wasn't in... More

I was booking Malta Sightseeing company for going on a one day trip to the neighbour island Gozo. On the way back the bus that was supposed to pick us up from the ferry terminal on Malta and bring us back to the hotel was nowhere to see. It was raining cats and dogs as was cold (Jan 10th), so... Not a bad way to see around island. As others have said lots of audio jacks don't work and after 12 in off season buses run every hour.

There are two companies providing similar hip on/ off services on Malta. We chose MaltaSightseeing.Places visited were interesting but two things disappointed.Firstly the commentary plugins worked in only about half the slots we used and secondly the bus frequency dropped for every 30 minutes to every 60 minutes after 12 noon.Having missythe bus by 5 minutes (our fault) we therefore had... A very good way to see the island in a short period of time but be prepared .... Take warm clothes if you are travelling in the winter months or on a windy day if you are planning on being on the top deck. The drivers are impatient and have a tendency to be slightly rude and short tempered which... More

Having paid and once the journey started I discovered that the commentary was provided via ear buds. Unfortunately, I’m unable to use ear buds and therefore missed hearing the entire commentary. It was also discovered that many of the connection points were inoperative. When the driver was approached about the buds he bluntly responded “What do you want me to... More
