This building tour is included within Malta Experience, it is well worth walking around after the 1 hrs movie, the history of Knights Hospitallers, and their role in development of treatment for the sick in Malta within huge underground tunnels is amazing.

An interesting experience of how the sick were treated by the Knights, especially the difference between the rich and the poor of the time.

We enjoyed our visit to the Knights Hospitallers above all because we were shown round in a small group by a highly articulate and knowledgeable lady guide. It's the subterranean building where the Knights of St John established their hospital, to treat their own members...More

Like many of the historic buildings in Malta it is difficult to believe how old they really are. This one is no exception, it exudes the atmosphere of the Knights and is well worth visiting.

For only 4.5 euros this museum is worth a visit. It consists mainly of wax dummies and models a narrative in various language. I found the whole exhibit very interesting, and it was surprisingly cool considering the intense heat outside.

The Sacra Infermeria(The Holy Infirmery) is a former hospital established by the Order of the Knights of Malta in 1574. Today, only the underground halls and corridors(looking like a maze) of the former hospital can be visited, the main part is now a conference centre.Interesting, worth a visit!
