Free entry to this lovely church is on the side street to the left facing the church. Lots of paintings and marble.

If you are lucky, you will "stumble" (quite literally on the steps of the street) where this seemingly tiny Church is hidden in the side streets of Valletta. The Priest quite often is outside, beckoning people in to see the internal wonders of his beloved...More

This is a lot smaller than the main cathedral but still worth looking at. It had lots of decorative silverware and statues also a lot quieter and easier to walk around. Well worth seeing and keep your eye out for the entrance as it is...More

This church has a rather plane exterior but its interior is very pretty. It is best known for having a reported relic from St Paul's ship.

Pleasant to walk around and escape the heat. There are some fine statues and paintings. Most captivating is the head of St John on a pillar with the explanatory letters beside.

If you want to worship, you can sit and meditate or say your prayers. There are beautiful murals on the tower windows and two entrances one on St. Lucia Street. There are about 3 sections and private meditation areas in the church. Photography not allowed...More

The Shipwreck Church is a beautiful church that hasn’t been overrun by tourists and has free entry. This is well worth going to and is a fantastic alternative if you don’t want to pay the overpriced entry for St. John’s.

The small entry door gives no clue to the huge space behind it. Full of beautiful artwork and curios - such as St Paul’s hand (or at least bones from it). Highly recommended.

Beautiful old church. Lovely side chapels and interesting artefacts including a relic of St Paul’s ship that brought him to Malta.

Not the largest church on the island, but lovely and intricate on the inside. It’s tucked away on a side street, which was decorated with banners when we visited in January 2018. The church is undergoing some restoration, but you can still see the fabulousness...More

You have to go to the side door and Santa Lucia Street. It is undergoing some renovation which is a bit of a problem but it's still worth the visit. Actually the renovation should be complete by now so I'm enjoy.
