As a contrast to the many Catholic churches in Malta, this was an interesting protestant one

The Cathedral is very atmospheric. Visitors routes are very firmly cordoned off. The day my wife and went must have been the busiest day of the year. It was bedlam inside. There were 4 cruise ships in Valleta on that day. So that is about...More

Having just visited the Carmelite Cathedral, it was a striking difference to see the interior of this Anglican Cathedral. Much simpler in style and no ornate gilding as in the Catholic churches

An incredible cathedral with the full weight of history behind it-try to read up on the basics beforehand to appreciate what you are looking at! The fans were a life saver in hot and humid conditions, even if staff there tend to monopolise them. Make...More

Situated a short walk from the Main Street, St Paul’s is a more sober church in the Anglican style. It has ties to many military outfits and is simple in its decoration. Still worth dropping in to see it, especially after St Johns.

This is a nice church although nothing very fancy or elaborate. Nice peaceful atmosphere due to it not being very crowded. Take time to read the Merchant Marine Prayer on display.

It was by chance I came across St Paul's - really enjoyed the experience to compare it's style and decor to other cathedrals in the area.

This is one of the Cathedrals that is simple in comparison to other churches and cathedrals; no ceiling-paintings or fresco's and very little wall-decorations. The memorial-engravings are inspiring. Plus: on a hot day this is a very cool place...

Having seen the splendour of St John's and the Carmellite church, this is more simplistic, nowhere near as highly decorated, but well worth stepping inside. It's got a very peaceful atmosphere, the staff will gladly supply any information you need and it's got interesting artefacts...More
