Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I cannot swim and I am not a huge fan of high speed so was a bit afraid at the begining but decided to give it a try and it was mind-blowing expirience!!! I was speechless. Wonderful views, great music in the background and Sigmund who made all of us feel safe every second of the trip.
This was the best thing I expirienced at the Faroe Islands.

Fantastic trip, Sigmund explained everything from safety, to where we are going and what we may see. We have done lots of rib and boat trips and this one was probably the best one.

Great experience, I loved it all. It was all cloudy but the sea was calm, so we could go everywhere! Very nice and very well organized

Great tour of Hestur Island including the visits to its caves on the west coast. The pilot was friendly and cave a few explanations of what we saw. I recommend to try and do the tour when the sun is shining or at least with no low hanging clouds. You will then be able to also enjoy the views of Hestur Island, the other islands of the archipelago and the open sea.

We were a bit uncertain about going on this boat trip on a cloudy and very foggy day. Was deciding between Vestmanna or Hestur but got friend’s recommendation on Hestur so we booked. Didn’t know what to expect but Sigmund gave us the best experience in Faroe with a boat trip around Hestur Island. Stunning and amazing landscape, variety of birds, and the best play list! Saw lots of puffins at the end of August - even though at a distance but we were happy as our ferry to Mykines was cancelled twice and we didn’t manage to go on this trip. It was even better on a cloudy day with a bit of fog which made the landscape a bit mysterious! Sigmund was very patient with questions from guests. A good host indeed.

I can’t say enough about our boat adventure with RIB62. From the initial booking several months before our visit to the final goodbye at the dock with our captain, everything just was amazing! Booking was pretty straightforward. I had to reach out via email though as the booking site wasn’t working. Sigmund got back with me very quickly and I was able to book our adventure. Once we arrived on the Faroe Islands I received a message from Sigmund letting me know the trip we had booked had to be cancelled but there was another option with several different times. We weren’t bothered by the switch and decided to go on the first boat adventure of the day. Thank goodness we did! We were the only ones on the boat!! Our captain, Erland, was absolutely fantastic. Being from the Faroe Islands, he clearly knew the waters and islands. He shared a lot of information and stories as we explored the coastline. He took us super close to the cliffs so we could see the wildlife and then also into some caves! We were lucky that the fog lifted and the sea cooperated! Absolutely thrilling!!

Are RIB62 involved in rounding up whales and dolphins?

Seems to be a very loaded question which hasn't really anything to do with what Rib62 do. They do very good tours in and around the Faroe Islands.
What the staff do in there spare time - who knows?

How much does this tour cost? Also, where do we meet and is there hotel pick up? Thanks!

The tour cost about 60 $ or 400 D. Kr When you sign up for the tour you will get a meet point. It will change and the tour can change because of the weather. No worries, they are good to communicate.

The Island Tour midget Hestur, 1.5 hours is the one that appears in the photos?
It costs DKK 350 per person + 450DKK taxi from the terminal, per person?

Do you have a tour for the 17 of August to see Puffins that doesn't involve a high speed boat?

if you want to get really close to puffins (but on land), then I also recommend you to go to Mykines and walk to the lighthouse there. You'll see hundreds, thousands of them and you'll manage to get very close to them (around 4-5 meter). From the ferry going to Mykines you'll also see them flying over the sea, but from further away.
