A striking concrete box on the outside, really standing out from the rest of the old town, this is a well arranged, interesting and varied exhibition. As with most museums in Luxembourg, the signs are in French and German only - and that’s fair enough...More

If you are here to do Luxembourg history, then this is a must do. I particularly liked the mini cyclorama style view of the city streets. I went back to it several times to view again.

As others have reported, this museum did an excellent job of explaining in graphic and clear ways the history of Luxembourg city. It was very modern and you could see that Luxembourg spent time and effort on making this a great museum.

I was only in Luxembourg for a day, so this museum gave a great overview of the history and culture of the area. It was also really cheap for visitors in their 20s!
