Grund is a must when visiting Luxembourg. Scenery and buildings resemble those of fairytales; walk-in around you feel as a knight on a horse or a princess will pop around the corner! Equally beautiful in the evening, this area must be visited!

Beautiful city to visited. Interesting. Photography is the best. Probably for the painting artist. Had a lunch in a tiny cafe and surprise that the sandwiches we had were so delicious and very fresh. We ate all and happy. A lot of walking but worthwhile.

This place is not to be missed in Luxembourg and it comes to life during the weekends Stroll around the area to admire it. There is a bar there that used to be my favourite when I was still living in Lux.

We walked from the city centre to the Grund district and then followed the path along the river before returning back. It is a lovely, quiet place with alot of superb photograph opportunities from the banks of the river...recommended!

The Grund is so different from the bustling city up the hill. It is quiet and old style with buildings and vistas that make it feel like you've stepped back in time. There are some wonderful restaurants here and it's a great place to spend...More

We happened to visit Luxembourg on June 24 and the 23rd was National Day so many areas of Luxembourg was pretty crowded. Many of the shops were closed. We walked around the Grund and was going to eat lunch in this area but the restaurant...More

We walked all the way down from the Casemates and viewing platforms. On a very hot June day, it seemed like a mad choice - especially as most sane people were taking it easy, sheltered, beer-in-hand watching the football. However, we felt a sense of...More
