Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fuseta is truly beautiful and the monthly lively market is fabulous. However, the main problem is the lack of public facilities near to the beach. The Restaurant on the front previously was shown on the map as 'public' with showers at 50c per shower, but now displays signs showing these facilities are only for customer use. This is very disappointing.

This is a very nice picturesque beach with fine views to the sand dunes on the islands. It is one of the best in the area. This beach is unusual as it is very close to the centre of the town unlike many others which are a long distance away across tidal mudflats. It is also only 15 minutes walk away fro the railway station ad 10 minutes from the nice town centre.

The beaches are beautiful and closed off to bathers. The water is not deep and without surf. Ideal for children's families. Bordad' Agua restaurant with ice cream sales is located directly on the beach. The ice prices are sporting. One ball € 3.00. We were too bored. Well, I'd rather go to the islands.

Pleasant beach with calm waters in bay. Short train drive from Faro. Only inconvenience was that staff only accepted cash payment for sunbeds, which we didn't have. Had to walk back to the village to draw money out in the biggest heat. Only 1 building which sells ice cream, drinks and food.

Beautiful clean golden sand beach. The water is clear and calm. It is very much a local's beach, so not loads of tourists here. There are great value bars on the beach that you can also buy snacks and lunch at. Just a lovely place to spend some relaxation time. Enjoy!

The beach is standard and is always very busy and it is very hard to park in the local area. The beach has quite a bit of litter on which made me feel uncomfortable lying in the sand surrounded by rubbish. I recommend instead getting the ferry to the island where the beach is much nicer and less crowded. There are bars and toilets there and the ferry is very regular.

How is the beach accessed - I noticed that in Tavira you need to get a ferry
Written 24 January 2018
Yes you get a ferry, but they are very regular and it is a short trip that is actually rather pleasant, it seemed no trouble at all. However, it might be awkward with small children.
