Cosy harbour

Cosy harbour and much less tourist than paphos. Nice surroundings. You can do lots of watersports like diving, snorkling etc.

Loved the beach in latchi. So safe for everyone, clean and refreshing. the children loved frolicking on the shore and shallows.

It is located in Polis Chrysochous (Latchi). It is a sandy beach mixed with pebbles and is easily reached by car, motorbike and bus. I spent 4 nights in this area this summer and I return mostly for the beautiful beach and crystal waters. Water sports, sun beds and umbrellas hire are available on site. The cost remains the same... There is now a lovely walk from Latchi to Polis campsite. This was achieved by a grant from the EU of nearly €4 million. Have to be critical as the sea is already destroying the path, more to succumb this Winter I'm sure. Not enough thought went into highest tides and stormy seas. Still good enough for a stroll ,more dedicated... More

The beach area was clean and plenty of sun beds and parasols at a reasonable rate. There was some snorkelling near the rocks but not the best. Sea pretty clear and quite warm. Nearby restaurant plus toilets and showers. Definitely worth a visit. Fantastic sunsets!

Even this time of the year there were many people on the beach. Although this side of the island is running down, Latchi continues. The beach is a mix of sand and pebbles, which is pretty much true for the whole of the coast line around Chrysochous Bay. The man-made breakwaters provide an effective barrier. The sea is placid (today... More

Pretty normal beach... but the most amazing underwater experience. Great for snorkelling - many different types of terrain and fish. It's very easy to spend an hour, or more, in the water. You'll need 50c for a freshwater shower.

With free parking and a range of sun loungers and umbrellas at €2.50 each, together with feee wifi for those of you who need to be online some time during the day, Latchi beach is the place to go. A sandy grey beach with fine pebbles and stones even the youngest visitor can enjoy a day at the sea side.... More

Long and at times narrow beach with some umbrella hire stations and few restaurants. Quiet location with locals coming down which is always nice to see. Water warm in September. Only downside is that it is mainly (but not completely) a pebble beach and that access to the water is difficulty without shoes but once in the water is very... More
