This is now the Supreme court of Northern Cypruse (Turkish bit) but it was a British court house. Nice building, very close to the crossing.

Rather impressive colonial building, those on foot should stop and take a pic or two. Old Nicosia is a town of many architectural styles and this colonial building adds to its charm. Not sure it was possible to visit the interior uninvited.

This building was used by the British during the colonial period as the main administrative building. Now it's used as the Supreme Court of Nicosia. Built in typical colonial style, it's a lovely building. It's close to Ataturk Square. I didn't actually enter the building...More

Still in use today this Law Court reminds you of old colonial days. Fine house in a nice garden setting.

A lovely old colonial building housed within a pleasing square. Still in use as the Legal system is still based on the British System. The building is well cared for and its history is very much part of the long and interesting history of Cyprus...More

The area of Nicosia where this building is is steeped with historic buildings from the British period. Still in use today, it is in excellent condition and worth a look as you pass by.

Nicosia has a plethora of really lovely old buildings and many from the colonial times very interesting to view them as most are in very good condition including the law courts which are still y sed today as well as the more modern building nearby
