A lovely old colonial building housed within a pleasing square. Still in use as the Legal system is still based on the British System. The building is well cared for and its history is very much part of the long and interesting history of Cyprus...More

The area of Nicosia where this building is is steeped with historic buildings from the British period. Still in use today, it is in excellent condition and worth a look as you pass by.

Nicosia has a plethora of really lovely old buildings and many from the colonial times very interesting to view them as most are in very good condition including the law courts which are still y sed today as well as the more modern building nearby

It's in a nice part of town, Im not sure you can, or would want to go inside. The street has lots of old building from the old British period.

Typical British colonial architecture. Lots of people coming and going. It is nice to sit in the square opposite and do some people watching with a glass of Turkish tea.

The Colonial Law Courts are still in use as the main law courts on the Turkish side. Not much to see. Some of the stairs are a bit scary and need repair. A nice garden. I don't see how it can be a tourist attraction...More

The building itself is a cultural landmark but when the lawyers are buzzing around in their gowns it is more like an English graduation ceremony! well worth a look as part of a walking tour of Northern Nicosia. Parts of this city are so dilapidated...More
