This is one of the prominent churches of Nicosia. It is also in a good pedestrian location. I would recommend it for a short visit.

This is a very beautiful and historic church in Nicosia right at the start (or end) of a long walk-road. It is worth visiting even if just to take a look.

Magnificent church named after the Virgin Mary of Discovery/Revelation. The Church has been revered and admired by many throughout the ages. The icon of Panagia P dates back to the 14th century. It is kept within the sanctuary and displayed for worship on the feast days of the Virgin. Of note is the Pulpit. The wall paintings and The Sanctuary. Leaflets are with the wax candles...More
