Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another sculpture in a series by a local artist. This one compliments the others; Sol Alter by the Harbour Castle and the Little Girl with the Sparrow outside the market in Ktima Pafos (old Town).
This sculpture is situated at the end of a concrete pier along Leoforos Poseidonos a little before the road starts to rise slightly. What the boy is trying to do I do not know because the fish is much too large to try to hide but I'm sure the Boy with a Fish has appeared in many tourists' photos as it is a good place to pose especially at dusk with the setting sun behind.

Wednesday 5th October, we were walking along the Paphos Promenade in the Harbour area where this staute is located. It is close to the intersection of Alkminis and Poseidenos Avenue.

Not easily missed, this rather endearing sculpture stands at the end of a small concrete pier that juts out into the sea.

The bronze sculpture depicts a young boy with a large fish behind his back. It could be that he is trying to hide the fish, but it has not worked, it is pretty obvious what he has.

It is worth the short walk out to see it, a photo opportunity and good views of Harbour and Paphos Castle.

It is the work of a local artist/sculptor Yiota Ioannidou.
