Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an excellent half day wine tasting, visited 3 wineries with really good expert guidance at each one. Del, our guide for the day was excellent throughout, taking us round with good humour and some little extras. Thoroughly recommended!!

Del is by far the best wine tour guide I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He arrived early at our hotel ready to take us on our adventure.
First stop was the delightful Cypriot Delight shop, who own the world record for the biggest Cypriot delight. Fabulous produce, great flavours for only 3 euros a box (we took three and I wish I bought more!).
Next stop was one of the oldest churches which had exquisite paintings dating back. An absolute must see, whether your religious or not, to see the beautiful artwork.
Then into the first winery of the day - Fikados where we samples 4 beautiful wines and met the lovely Leonardo who walked us through with a few nibbles. The rose is truly to die for and the whites were stunning.
Second winery is a commutative winery, where locals can bring their own grapes for wine. Irene is the star of the show here, as many say in the reviews, as she's incredibly kind, knowledge and has a very large selection of wines on offer (I think we tried around 10) as well as gins, rums and other spirits. The olive oil is also gorgeous.
The third and final winery was Vasilikon, set in the hills with the most breathtaking view. Again, incredible wines, but I would say (even as white wine obsessed as I am) the reds really stole the show here. We had lunch, as part of the all day tour, which featured as some meats and cheeses and Greek salad. The gorgeous dog (Alito?) simply added to the magic.
Del was incredibly informative throughout, both with regards to the wineries and wine but also the local area as he pointed out key items to note as we went by.
My only criticism is that I'm not quite sure what the difference is between the full day tour and half day tour, as the itinerary is identical but for the lunch yet has a difference of 48 euros. This seemed a bit expensive personally for the meat and cheese platter.
I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone, but given my comment above, I think I would suggest sticking to the half day tour. Have absolutely zero worry around the incredible Del, who is one of the nicest people I've ever met and is the soul of this business. He's a credit to the company, and someone I could easily see similar companies fighting to have!

We had a great experience. The booking was easy. I had a few queries that they clarified without delay.
On the day they were on time. Our guide was Del and he was an amazing guy. He knew where to take us and had a great sense of humour. He also showed us some landmarks that he had missed. the wineries were well chosen. The wine selection covered a wide range and some of the wines were complex and excellent. I highly recommend this company.

Superb trip hosted by Del. Visited 3 wineries and there was no shortage of wine. Also was able to see many local sites and a different part of Paphos which we had no seen. Del was a great host and it was a very personal experience compared to the large tour groups.

A big thank you to our guide Dell who took us on a fantastic wine tour on Thursday. We got to visit 3 brilliant wineries, tasting a number of wines. We even got to stop in at a local sweet shop to see how Cyprus delights are made which was great! We did the half day tour and can’t recommend this and Dell enough!

Del picked us up at the hotel and we started our Day out and about with a visit to a traditional Cypriot sweet shop and a beautiful church before we reached the first of 3 wineries. Wine tasting was great fun and all 3 wineries offer very different experiences and wines. On the way to lunch we stopped at a small monastery with the most amazing views and lunch in a lovely little restaurant with a great view finished the tour. Del is knowledgeable and super friendly and we really enjoyed the whole experience!

The best part of our tour was the reception and short tour of the SODAP manufacturing process. We saw the grapes being delivered by dozens of independent farmers, all queuing to add their grapes to the tons being slowly processed into liquid. Irene was really interesting and has a good rapport with Dell our guide and driver.
Dell picked us up on time and pointed out interesting facts about Cyprus and Paphos that we didn't know about even though we have been many times.
Dell arranged our itinerary and couldn't have been more accommodating.
Definitely a good thing to do...just don't plan to do too much in the evening afterwards!

My husband and I went on the half day tour as part of our honeymoon. We were not disappointed. Del was not only an excellent guide but fantastic company for the day and made the tour so special for us.
It started with a trip to a Cypriot delight place which was a good surprise bonus. As well as an extra winery (as we had time) on top of the 2 expected.
First we went to Fikardos winery and had the pleasure of Leonardo's company. The wine named after him by his father is delicious and he is very knowledgeable.
After this we went to Sodap (Komanterena winery) which for us was the highlight of the day. Not only did we continue enjoying the company of Del but the fabulous Irene was added to the mix. A wonderful lady who is full of positively and energy and knows how to make wine tasting fun. She was incredibly generous with the wine and was clearly very proud of what they have on offer there. We ended up purchasing quite a bit of wine there! It has tasted just as good at home as it did in beautiful Cyprus.
Finally we went to Vasilikon. I agree with others that the hosts don't engage in the same way but that was fine for us, we just sat and enjoyed the wine and snacks, as well as the spectacular views across the mountains.
All three wineries were very different but we enjoyed them all in their different ways. Del asked us which was our favourite, we loved Irene so I leaned towards Sodap but in all honesty it is such a good tour because of the variety offered in each place. Fikardos has a lovely family feel, the wine was beautiful and I got the sense that if you wanted to speak about wine in detail this is the place to do it as they are very knowledgeable. Then the party and fun happens at Sodap - you could probably stay there all day. The wine is a good price if you are looking to buy and there is a lot of choice on offer. Finally sophistication and quality can be found at Vasilikon. It felt quite trendy to us. We got snacks along with drinks in all three wineries.
On top of the wine you won't get a better guide than Del. He knows a lot not just about the wine but also the history and other local gems.
Thanks for making our honeymoon even better Del. We would definitely recommend this tour and/or company for anyone looking to do a wine tour.

Добрый день. Подскажите пожалуйста, есть ли у Вас винные туры на русском языке. Спасибо
Sorry no. We can add a Russian translator but that will be at extra cost

What would be the charge to be picked up from Protaras?
We dont normally pick up from that side of the island. It will also be difficult to do a wine tour as it will take over 1.5 hours each way to get to paphos. Sorry
