My husband and I did the signature tour with Derek and had a great day with lots of wine and at a variety of Wineries from small family vineyards to a larger Co-op. Food was a large cheese and meat platter with salad at a lovely winery in the hills with fantastic views. Met lots of people who knew a lot about wine and bought quite a few bottles to take home (although no pressure to do so). Would thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting to taste some of the wide variety of wines Cyprus has to offer.

We would highly recommend booking a wine tour in the beautiful Troodos mountains. We were supposed to have a rainy, stormy day, which we weren’t sure what to do during… so we booked a wine tour, and we ended up lucking out with the weather. We, also, couldn’t have had a better experience with Del as our guide! We were super last minute in booking, but he organized everything perfectly, so we ended up getting to enjoy 3 vineyards on our half-day tour. Each vineyard was beautiful and we had the opportunity to sample some delicious wines. The only thing we’d change is, next time, we’ll do a tour at the beginning of our trip instead of the end, so we can actually buy some of the very inexpensive, tasty, wine to enjoy during our time here. And there will be a next time, that’s for sure! Thanks, again, Del, we had the best day!!

Brilliant visit around 3 Cypriot wineries. Great variation and stunning views. Dell was a brilliant guide, really friendly, chatty and knowledgable. We did the half day tour which lasted from around 9.30-1.30 and had lots of great wine on the way. The hosts at each winery were great too, especially at the Kamanterena winery which was definitely the highlight, we also got a tour of the whole building. 5/5!

Del picked us up at the hotel and we started our Day out and about with a visit to a traditional Cypriot sweet shop and a beautiful church before we reached the first of 3 wineries. Wine tasting was great fun and all 3 wineries offer very different experiences and wines. On the way to lunch we stopped at a small monastery with the most amazing views and lunch in a lovely little restaurant with a great view finished the tour. Del is knowledgeable and super friendly and we really enjoyed the whole experience!

Visited Paphos for the second time, purchased a boat trip with this wine tour included. I absolutely loved it. The lady was lovely and I bought the best wine I’ve ever tasted, I’m well travelled and I can’t recommend the “Sweet Wine” (red) enough. It was €4.80 for a litre!!!

We were picked up from our hotel by Del, who was our guide for the tour of three local Cypriot wineries. Del was both professional and had a great sense of humour, sharing insights about life in Cyprus and answering all our questions. Before heading to the wineries, he took us on a detour to a long-established business that produces Cypriot delight (not to be confused with Turkish Delight!) on-site, and we bought 2 boxes to take home. It was wonderful to sample the many different flavours they had.
The three wineries we visited were quite different, but we enjoyed tasting a variety of whites, rosés, and reds; all made from Cypriot grapes including some blends. Each winery also served some snacks to accompany the different wines. There was no pressure to purchase anything, but we ended up buying three bottles of wine and a wine thermometer which all made it back to Scotland safely!
We enjoyed a traditional Cypriot lunch at a local restaurant , featuring bread with dips, salad, kebabs, scrambled eggs with zucchini, lemon chicken (my favourite so fresh & zingy), melon/banana with carob syrup - and of course more wine!! We thoroughly recommend this wine tour.

The best part of our tour was the reception and short tour of the SODAP manufacturing process. We saw the grapes being delivered by dozens of independent farmers, all queuing to add their grapes to the tons being slowly processed into liquid. Irene was really interesting and has a good rapport with Dell our guide and driver.
Dell picked us up on time and pointed out interesting facts about Cyprus and Paphos that we didn't know about even though we have been many times.
Dell arranged our itinerary and couldn't have been more accommodating.
Definitely a good thing to do...just don't plan to do too much in the evening afterwards!

We did the half day wine tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Derek was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us to some beautiful wineries that we never would have found ourselves. We tried a variety of wines and the samples were very generous sizes! I would definitely recommend!

We had a half day wine tour with Del around 3 vineyards in Paphos. Del was very knowledgable of the local area in general but also of the different vineyards and grapes of Cyprus. He was very prompt and efficient but at the same time had a nice laid back persona. We visited 3 vineyards Fikardos (Small family run), Sodap a co-operative and Vasilikon.
All 3 vineyards were very different Fikardos very knowledable and family run. Highlight for us was Sodap with Irene who was the host , very interactive, informative and good fun. Vasilikon felt a bit like a bit of a robotic place , host barely engaged and just did the bear minimum, such a shame because this is a beatutiful location.
To be clear a great run tour hosted by our guide Del, would have no hesitation in recommending Paphos Wine tours, sometimes they are reliant upon which vineyards are open and accessible on that day.

We had an excellent half day wine tasting, visited 3 wineries with really good expert guidance at each one. Del, our guide for the day was excellent throughout, taking us round with good humour and some little extras. Thoroughly recommended!!

What would be the charge to be picked up from Protaras?
Written 28 July 2018
We dont normally pick up from that side of the island. It will also be difficult to do a wine tour as it will take over 1.5 hours each way to get to paphos. Sorry

Do you pick up/drop off from Pissouri thanks
