Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It has history that it wants to teach visitors. I found the place that needs good cleaning. Do not come here unless you are nearby and have quarter of an hour to spare.

We walked past this on an evening stroll, very interesting and got some lovely sunset pictures. Worth a visit, we only spent around 10 minutes here but were not expecting to go past it so it was nice :)

An interesting little museum explaining about the revolution and trying to get rid of Brits. It has is the boat that carried all the munitions and photographs of the revolutionaries.

This is a historical place where General Grivas came to take over the paramilitary war against the British empire.

Stayed at the hotel next door so didn't have to travel far. The monument is quite imposing and can be seen from quite a distance away on the coastal path. There is a statue of Grivas not far from the monument whick gives a really good photo oppotunity. Unfortunately the museum containg the boat that Grivas used is closed for renovation at the moment, though the boat can be seen through the windows. We have visited the museum in the past and it is quite good, giving an insight into the struggle against British rule in the 1950's. Certainly worth a look if you are in the area

although the museum is closed due to refurbishment the monument is well worth seeing the colours simmer and appear to change in the sun
