I participated in the Troodos excursion, Paphos forest Kykkos and Omodos. I had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Sofia gave us a descriptive tour, the places were amazing and the nature stunning. The place they suggested to us for food was excellent and of high quality full of flavors of Cyprus (buffet at a very good price). Our driver Adama's driving was smooth.

Authentic Cyprus tour
This is the second time I've done this trip and once again it didn't disappoint. The guide Andrea was very knowledgeable and gave different information to last time. The views are amazing and as I usually drive myself it is lovely to be able to sit back and enjoy them. The brunch in Letymbou was yummy as was the fresh bread from the old bread oven. I will certainly be doing this trip again probably in Spring. As there are a few stops we werent on the bus for too long in between.

Salamis in particular is unmissable. Varosha you only see at a distance. Famagusta is a busy much restored ancient city. Ours was a day trip and at only 27 euros each it was great value.

I was disappointed with this visit to Nicosia.
The guide gave us a lot of information during the bus that people listened to with varying degrees of interest. Personally I was interested. And I wanted to ask her a question and she told me to wait until she returned to ask my questions in case she had not answered them during her speeches. Because it tired her to talk and she had to rest. So that during the entire journey she speaks with the driver... I found that very rude and not very customer oriented.
However, I recognize his professionalism and the quality of the information given. Afterwards we took a 5 hour bus ride and ended up seeing very little. I had the impression that I had only gone on the bus, unlike the other excursions I had done. I don't know if it's this service provider or this excursion but in any case I don't recommend it.

We really went on this trip mainly to get a chance to go over the line in to the Turkish Cypriot quarter. The trip itself was uneventfull but the guide was very good. It is purely a shopping trip with the same shops that you will find in any big town plus the usual souvenir shops. We visited a litttle village selling lace and silver jewellery but, again, nothing out of the ordinary

Thank you for your review. The tour is named as Nicosia shopping because we wanted to focus on the fact to give plenty of free time to our customers to enjoy the capital as they wishes

We got the local bus to Nicosia , about a 2hr ride but you go right there no stopping ever 10mins in some little village. the road there is the duel carriageway so very good road .on getting to the bus station you are right by all the big shops from what we could see , what we did was walk away from where we had come in around the corner and down the hill about 8mins and you come to the boarder so take your passport , and go into north Cyprus in Nicosia , you are by the old walls from way way back in history but look carefully and there are some big lizards on there , the old parts of the market area you come to are some of the best you will see ,there are shops ,cafe's bars etc but also a bazar , with cloths and fruit taking you back in time a little to say the least .you could stay in the greek part but take a peek into northen Nicosia you never know what you might find

I enjoyed this tour but we didn't go to some of the advertised venues! We didn't go to the 5 domed church or saw 'loukoumia' being made, which was a shame. What we did go to I enjoyed, particularly going to Sophia's house. I think it was good value for money and would recommend it. One thing to improve was that the coach has poor air conditioning and was very hot.

Dear customer Thank you for your review and comments which always are welcomed and are used as feedback of our operation. Its seems however that there is a misunderstanding, 5-dommed church and Loukoumia, were intergral part of our tour in last year program which was advertised accordingly. The program of the coresponding tour is being changed in February 18 and since then is being advertised, according to our partners confirmation, with the new sights. It will be realy helpful to follow up if we have a copy of the desciption. You comment regarding air conditioning of the coach is been noted and been repaired, but I would say that even machines can't stand the head!

Kourion was very lovely and very interesting but Limassol was a bit of a waste of time as the trip dropped us off there when most of the shops were closed. I didnt find it very interesting but it filled a day and the guide was very polite and helpful

A fun trip out with some nice sights. I especially enjoyed Avakas Gorge, but definitely make sure you have the right shoes! Even if you don't make it to the end (it gets tricky stepping over wet rocks) you still get some nice scenery. Unfortunately you don't see turtles (something I was looking forward to out of my own stupidity as they come out at night) but the beach is still nice, the waves can get big though and there isn't really anywhere to get dry/dressed so plan your clothing! The second restaurant for lunch was OK but there's not much choice if you don't like fish and it's also a touch pricey.

We're not much into coach tours normally, but this one was an exception. Booked on TA before we went to Paphos, although there is a Ruslan travel centre in Paphos, or possibly book in the hotel, for about the same price. We were picked up within a short walking distance from our hotel and taken in an air-conditioned coach which had 2 guides; one for English speaking (which was the vast majority) and one for Russian (which amounted to about half a dozen). The coach was full, although I think they run less tours out of season, which would account for this. All places we visited had toilet facilities if required.

An excellent value tour which took us to several places in the Paphos area and we got to see local crafts, sweets, delicacies and wine made. The highlight for us was Sophia's house, where you could see Sophia in the kitchen, catering for an entire coachload on her own. We were provided with a simple lunch here of olives, home made bread, freshly made halloumi (nothing like the hard rubbery cheese you get in the supermarkets), tomatoes, cucumber and home made preserves, followed by fresh fruit and freshly made doughnut type things. You could also take a walk around her house and garden. The tour was completed with a visit to a winery, with a talk, tour and tastings, where you could purchase reasonably priced wines. The tasting session could have been improved by a description of each wine and perhaps a basic lesson on wine tasting.

A highly recommended good value tour - one tip I would give for the English speakers is to try and get a position in the group away from any Russian translator, as you couldn't hear what was being said properly with the translator speaking nearby.
