Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

A fantastic day out. Quite long but we saw so much! The ghost city of Famagusta and the roman city of Salamis were the highlights for me!

Such a wonderful day. Very well organised and felt safe and looked after. Fascinating to be able to walk around the abandoned area of Varosha a real highlight of the holiday. Salamis was interesting to see and spent the right amount of time here. Tip is to buy bread at the first bakery stop and skip lunch giving you more time to wander around the old town. Worth changing euros into local Turkish lira if you want to buy anything. We got a lovely teaset for equivalent of €5. It’s a long day about 12 hours but worth it.

This was a brilliant day trip.
The coffee stops there and back were good, adequate time for a drink and the loo! The stop at the St Barnabus monastery was very interesting. The stop at Salamis was amazing, so much to see. I think some people on our trip found it a bit difficult underfoot here.
Famagusta was lovely, beautiful cathedral & old town. Great place for a lunch stop too. Lots of choice for lunch here.
The highlight of the tour for me was the visit to Varosi. It was incredible & very thought provoking to see how it was all as it was left in 1974. Eerie also.
Our guide was brilliant for the whole day. His knowledge was great. The driver was also very good.
The stops at the border, particularly on return seemed long but nothing can be done about that.
It is a long day, 11 1/2 hours, but we were prepared for that & it was definitely worth it.

The trip was well organised with interesting places to visit and a good overview of the area. There was sufficient time at each stop to see and do what was needed. Sophie the guide was excellent. Her in-depth knowledge of the area and local customs made the trip even more enjoyable. Her sense of humour also added an extra fillip to the day.

Having read other reviews, I already sort of new what to expect. Value for money but not enough time at Kourion. Only allowing for 35 mins was not enough t yonder a site the you should allow at least 2 hours for. The time at Limmasol was far to long and there is not much to see after the castle. The time at Kolossi castle was perfect. Stopping off at Aphrodite’s alleged birth place seemed a bit pointless and rushed. However, overall, you cannot fault the value and sites visited , given the there is no other excursion like this offered from Paphos.

Thank you for your feedback. Your suggestion is noted but need to clarify that the corresponding tour is of a general nature to sweet a variety interests and not just archelogical park. In fact to have a fair view of the kourion you will need atleast 4-5 hours!

This was a trip which was top of our must do on this trip to Cyprus. The stops at St Barnabus monastery and the Roman site of Salamis were very good. The highlight for us was the abandoned town of Varosi. Incredible to see that 50 years on nothing has been done to this huge area on outskirts of Famagusta. Only downside was that we were a big group so didn't always hear what guide was saying. She e the other pony doesn't use audio technology.

It was a fantastic day trip that we all enjoyed a little bit of it as a family. The wine tasting was a lovely surprise as we were not expecting it. The coach was super clean with air conditioning. The driver was nice and drove smoothly so no motion sickness. Recommended restaurant for lunch was really tasty. Tour guide was nice and knowledgeable on every aspect of our route and all stops. Gave us facts and information the whole day. Thank you for a great day out.

This is a long day but worth it, the tour is the length of the island taking in so many sites along the way. We had enough time at each stop and our guide was very informative about the history of the island. Well worth doing.

The tour is simple: we go to Nicosia and back. The main theme is own time, although there is a nice introduction to Nicosia from the guide. However, there is simply not enough time given. The free time in Nicosia is around three hours. Which might look like much, unless you take into account that it is a divided city: so you in fact are sightseeing two towns and have to squeeze lunch into it. The tour departs Nicosia at 2.15pm. It is possible to give people another 90 minutes and still come back to Paphos at a reasonable hour.

Thank you for your feeback. Your suggestion although is reasonable. When we had allocate more time, we have the adverse feeback of long hours. As long distance and time to return, we did apply the average.
