Definitely worth a day out if you're staying close by. We were staying about 10 mins drive away and this was a great way to break up the week as our hotel didn't have water slides for older children. Ordered tickets online the night before - as there are 2 adults and 3 children in our family, we brought a family ticket which saved a few euros to buying individual tickets. We got there pretty much as soon as it had opened so didn't have to queue to go in, and there weren't many queues in the park for the first 2/3 slides. If you can get there when it opens you'll have a better chance of getting sunbeds (these were all taken quite quickly) if you want somewhere to base yourself from. It was also nice not having to join queues for the first few slides. We didn't use sunbeds, but paid 5 euros for a locker to keep our stuff in, which was fine for us as we didn't sit down at all.
We all wore sliders/flip flops around the park and lots of people were doing this, but as you can't wear them on most of the slides/attractions, you either have to carry them whilst trying to hold on (to a rubber ring), or you have to leave them somewhere and go back and get them. The floor was too hot to go barefoot (we tried in certain areas but not ideal). I would either wear water shoes, or you can buy a pair of water socks that they sell at the park. You also can't wear hats on some of the slides so we were also trying to juggle holding these whilst holding on and trying not to get baseball caps/visors soaking wet.
Where there were queues, they moved pretty quickly and the ride attendants were making sure that the queues kept moving. The biggest issue is other people pushing in, but that's not the fault of the water park! The only long queue we faced was for the giant bubble/bouncy pillow. Our kids queued for about 30-40 minutes to have a go. Part of the reason this takes so long is because the attendants make sure you only go on with your group/family, which was nice.
Our kids had churros, donuts, lemonade, and slushies - not ridiculously expensive and about what I'd expected to pay. I think it was about 4 euros for a slushie (comes with a novelty, refillable cup), and maybe 8 euros for churros/donuts. We also brought 3 photos that had been taken by the park photographers - cost 20 euros for the 3 prints, but we rarely ever have photos taken with all 5 of us so was worth it to get a family picture!
Our kids are 10/9/8 and the water park was of a size that we felt safe they could wait at the bottom of a slide until we had all come down. As there are 5 of us, we had to split up on everything. There are family rafts available for up to 4, and double rubber rings for 2 people, so there were always times when one or more of us were at the bottom of a slide before others. There is a good choice of slides for kids of our age - they didn't want to do some of the bigger slides, but there were some 'medium' type ones that are perfect for their ages.
Last thing to mention is the payment system int he park. Everyone gets a wristband on entry which has a bar code on it. When you buy food/drink/anything in the park, your wristband is scanned and then you pay at the end when you leave the park. This is a great idea and avoided anyone having to carry money or cards around.

It is very good aquapark, it is small but enough to kill 7 hours with my 9 year old daughter. We went on Thursday in August, we arrived just after 10, no queues outside and plenty beds to choose from . Staff members very helpful, toilets ,changing rooms and lockers easy accessible and very modern facilities . We chose to take bus 611, bus stop just outside our hotel and only took 15 minutes from harbour to get there, taxi on the way back from aquapark to paphos harbour was only €12 . Aquapark Tickets are very reasonable priced too and pictures taken by their own staff were good quality and not expensive. Next time i won't bother with hats , sunglasses or pool shoes, as you have to take them off on slides, inflatables and on other activities , but I would recommend to purchase their own aqua socks, they are very cheap and allowed to be kept on at all times. We didn't experience
much queueing for slides either. Now the best part, food is excellent . Usually you get bog standart dry fast food in aquaparks but not there, really good Chinese buffet , sushi, kebabs and churos, doughnuts etc. All was super delicious and again, not expensive. Nice cocktails and mocktails in bar too. Definitely recommend this waterpark.

Great visit to the waterpark, there were lots of rides from a tame lazy river, to fast slides. Our family ranged in age from 5 to 50 something, and there was something for every age! We had such fun on the slides with inflatables! You get a wristband which you use every time you purchase something, so no need to carry any money, and lockers can be hired to secure your valuables. The only thing I would say needs improvement is that when it's very hot (which it was), the walkways are unbearable on bare feet. There was some matting in some areas to walk on, but desperately need many more of these. They do suggest you wear swim socks (which they sell), but these were slippy in the areas where it was wet and cool. Well worth a visit!

In overall it is okay, not a scam or nothing to worry about. It’s the official Paphos waterpark that is worth to visit once. Safe to buy tickets online. What we seen as negative: despite ordered tickets online there is no queue: the direct buyers had priority and even if the ticket had a barcode in the file they had to type the code with 8 numeric characters- not safe at all but takes time.. consumption vouchers are printed papers and not connected to your account- again not safe. The lockers need another queue and can’t payed online. Many attractions like popular slides or “wet bubble” has also queues. More than 4 slides has aging limits and it is not displayed earlier, independent from height that works elsewhere. Restaurants and popular slides close early around 3 pm-they run out of food . Btw the waterpark closes 5pm not 6pm. And yes, leaving the building needs an hour of queuing too! The pre-payed consumption at restaurants shows false information as well, better to memorize the balance! It should be an online account in 2024, preferably in a mobile app!

Not a huge waterpark but great fun for all the family.
More than enough sunbeds, so don't worry.
Lockers are €5 with €5 deposit.
Does get busy past 11! But queues weren't more than 20 minutes at the very most.
Beware, food and drink is very expensive and cannot take own in. More dangerous as all you do is show your wristband so do not know family total until leaving.
Having said that, the chicken kebab was tasty and very filling!

Didn’t really know what to expect but have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Went with my husband, son (15) & his mate. Great rides, queues were only 10 mins max which for August is brilliant, and it’s cashless so you wear a wristband and just scan that for drinks/food & pay on the way out. I was happy that my son could get a drink without having to keep coming back to us for cash. Got a taxi there (10 euros) but walked back as it’s actually less than a mile to where we stayed. Would defo go again if visiting Paphos.

We had a great day at Aphrodite Waterpark. On entry we were all given a wrist band which was scanned when purchasing items around the park. I thought this was a great idea, saves carrying money or cards around all day. Not too busy and lots of sun loungers around. Plenty to do with 3 kids aged 16,11 and 6. The rides were great and queues went down pretty quick. Our favourites were the crazy cone and the speed racer. We would definitely recommend getting either water sock or shoes as the floor is extremely hot! We ate at the fast food tent, this was probably the only downfall of the day as the chicken burger especially wasn't very nice. Kids got slushes and donuts from the kiosk and enjoyed them. We also purchased the consumption voucher, 48 euros for 60 euros worth. If you have 4 or more people in your family I would get the next package up. All in all a very enjoyable day which we would recommend and definitely go back if we return to Paphos.

As a father who gets reluctantly dragged around the water parks in the world by his children, I wasn't looking forward to this. However, 5 hours later and my daughter and I came away beaming. A nice, relaxed water park, spread out and well designed. Some are just tall steel structures, which don't help if you're not keen on heights but the one at Paphos has been tastefully designed, so it's not a chore to keep going to the top to ride down the slides. We got in as it opened and we were the first down a couple of the slides.
The changing facilities were nice and clean and the lockers, large enough and safe.
The wave pool is well designed, some are just one big wave after another from the front but here the waves are constant and you can have a good time just rising and falling in a rubber ring.
The lazy river must be laziest river I've ever been on but it suited the park and passed a relaxing 20 mins and I liked how you could join this from the family raft ride.
We thought the food and drinks availability, choice and cost were good. You wear a wrist band and use this to scan what you buy and then check out when you leave, which is a better way of doing things rather than pay as you go and needing cash or card on you.
Six months ago, we paid a small fortune to go to Atlantis Aquadventure water park in Dubai and came away disappointed but in Paphos we came away from the Aphrodite water park happy and when I asked my daughter, if she would go back here, she said, "Definitely."

Very good waterpark, decent value, wristband payment works well. Definitely wear socks walking round the slides, just wear a pair of your own ordinary ankle socks.
Tip: buy tickets online in advance, get there 20/30 mins before it opens at 10am so you are one of the first in then blitz as many of the main slides as you can over first couple of hours. By 11.30/12 queues were huge for every ride and we went on a Monday.

This was a great day out and I cannot recommend it enough.
I would recommend you book online and take up the offer of the food vouchers too. And in fairness, the food on site was really good, not the usual theme park nonsense you get back in England (Alton Towers etc.). The load fries truck was especially excellent...!
I would also recommend pool shoes for the kids. The floor was BURNING on your feet and although there were some rubber mats around, even these were burning your feet so for little ones, this would be a must.
We left our stuff by our sunbed and it felt safe enough (we didn't use the lockers as that area was mobbed when we got there) and the changing rooms were busy when we left.
I would also recommend staying until it closes as the rides were almost empty by around 5pm so the kids got on everything again without any queues and they were allowed as long as they wanted on the big bouncy cushion and climbing wall at the end too which was great.
Staff excellent too. Worth every penny we spent.

I would also recommend pool shoes for the kids. The floor was BURNING on your feet and although there were some rubber mats around, even these were burning your feet so for little ones, this would be a must.
We left our stuff by our sunbed and it felt safe enough (we didn't use the lockers as that area was mobbed when we got there) and the changing rooms were busy when we left.
I would also recommend staying until it closes as the rides were almost empty by around 5pm so the kids got on everything again without any queues and they were allowed as long as they wanted on the big bouncy cushion and climbing wall at the end too which was great.
Staff excellent too. Worth every penny we spent.

Can children go down the slides on their own or do they need to go down with an adult. Im coming with a 9 and 11 year old but i dont like the slides so it will just be them on their own going down them.

Would it be okay for us to bring a waterproof disposable camera around with us? I seen someone on YouTube was allowed a go pro. Less for major use just for a few snaps, without the need to fumble about with a mobile phone at the locker risking getting it wet! Thanks.

Hi, I’m looking to book for my daughters birthday in July. I can see that you don’t actually book a date but that the tickets are open for any day. Is this correct? Does it ever get too busy and fully book? Bit worried to purchase and then not be able to use on the day we wanted.

We booked through TUI and yes it is an open ticket whilst we were there in June it was not over crowded busy but you could get sun beds food and ice cream easily.
It probably gets busier in the summer holidays l would email them in advance and check if you can book an entry time.
