Only one shop was open when we visited.
Aug 2020
When we visited the old Paphos Market (Agora) it was all closed apart from like one shop. So very disappointing. It was not that much to look at either. Maybe if we had managed to visit when shops were open it would have been better.

Worth a visit for local Cypriot/ Greek wares. Small market but nice to wander round in the shade on a hot day. Don’t pay full price for anything hey will drop their prices!

Nice Town Market, bit samey as many other local Markets
Nov 2019
Nice market - but a bit disapointed, as markets these day are the very much the same as any other country. Cloths from Inida, pakisatan or Vetnam

Very good prices

This is part of the old town of Paphos and overlooks the whole bay of Paphos. You get the 610 bus from the Harbour Bus terminus up to the Market. For your information where the bus drops you off you either can take the lift or walk up the steps, once at the top turn left and its just around the bend on the right hand side.

Great bargains and reasonably priced, especially comparing prices to the "Tourist" shops down in Paphos itself. There is no real hard sell, but you do seem to get tagged and followed around some of the shops which put me off a little, but with saying that the other shops in Paphos is no different.

Also on your ascent to the Market there is a Cafe Nero which is lovely to sit out in having your drink and the views right across Paphos bay is wonderful.

Great Views.

A great place to visit when in Paphos. Lots of great merchandise, food, views, and character. Some contemporary updates are taking place, but the area still holds some old time charm. Cafe Nero has taken up a prime spot, and is a good spot for an Americano.

Get bus 610 from harbour bus station to old town and municipal market. The market is on daily and is a must go to in this wonderful place. Paphos is fantastic!! Even in feb the weather was a glorious sunny 20+°. We will be back definitely.

Decent enough

Lot of small shops, most of them sell fake luxury items. Some of the shops are really good and have good stuff, like brass chess, bags, juice

Fun place to visit
Feb 2020
As it was only the second week in the season there were not many stalls open but the places that were are packed with everything you need. Leather goods, football shirts, sweets and 'trinkets'. Can't wait to go back when it's busier. One thing I will say is the lift wasn't working so it is quite a climb from the bus stop.
