Situated in the center of Paralimni the church is a landmark of greek orthodox religion. the nearby coffee shops can also give you a good 1 hour to spend.

As always the churches are beautiful inside,well worth a visit even if your not Greek Orthodox. I light candles for my departed loved-ones.

Opposite the bus station and square sits one large wonderful designed church along with two others of older demeanor, its a peaceful area to wander round take in the design and quietness of the paved area around. Easter week evenings plenty of locals come here...More

If you are in Paralimni and near the Square, then you cannot fail to see the Agios Georgious Church. Beautifully designed and built and exceptionally well maintained. A true piece of Old Cyprus in amongst the Modern. Well worth a few minutes of your time...More

We popped into this church when we visited the area in September 2017. We were met at the door by a very knowledgeable volunteer who gave us information about the church and explained the significance of the impressive chandeliers which adorn the church.
