This little museum is across from the historic church and worth spending time appreciating the antiquities within. Amazing collection of extremely old icons, coins, etc with good information in English. The curator will even put some atmospheric music of monks singing to add to the...More

Nice collection of religious paintings. Some of them very old indeed. Excellent condition as many of these paintings were hidden in dark places so the Ottoman Turks wouldn't find them and kill the owners.

the museum was very clean and full of old icons and the histories were written in English, Greek and Russian language. We learn more .
