Fab walk when combined with the Aphrodite trail
Oct 2020 • Couples
we wanted to complete the combined Adonis and Aphrodite trail.
To do so, park at the Aphrodite Baths car park and walk back along the road to the start of the Adonis nature trail. Follow the path up and keep to the red dots, there are a couple of occasions where it seems more obvious to take a different route but look for the red dots and you can't go wrong. You'll come a trail cross roads with sign posts, now follow the Aphrodite trail, you'll climb up another mountain and see the blue lagoon from the top. The path then winds it's way down the coast and eventually to the Baths of Aphrodite and then back to the car park.

Walk this way round starting with the Adonis trail for the best views of the coast, you'll miss out if you walk the other way

Adonis + Aphrodite = Hard work, nice views!
Feb 2020
We did in fact a combination of adonis and aphrodite trail wich was awsome. Here's how:

park your car at the car park of aphrodite's baths and hike a bit back along the road untill you see the starting point of the adonis trail on your right hand side (0,6 km). Now you have some hiking up to do, but it's well worth the views. The trail leads you trough the forest and up the mountain. Follow this trail (also marked with red dots and arrows) untill you come across the remains of a small tower (4,4km).

Here is where you have to follow the aphodite trail. The trail leads you back up a mountain where you will have a wonderfull view on the coastline. From that point it's all downhill along the coast untill you reach aphrodite's baths and the car park (5 km).

It took us about 4 hours with a lot of "picture stops" and a lunch break. Wear comfortable shoes and take enough water with you.

Very beautiful area if you enjoy walking, must take plenty of water when the weather is very hot, plenty of places to stop and rest, to take photos too or just enjoy the view

Hiking heaven
May 2019 • Friends
If you are reasonably fit and enjoy a good hike, don't miss this. About 7.5KM distance in total but a fairly strenuous pull up to the ridge. The views from the top are spectacular and well worth the effort.

Simply stunning

Gorgeous walking... we managed to do the Aphordite trail the wrong way around which was quite a hike up (though we did come down again). Signs for the trail are there but they are not too frequent. Having said that enjoy the views. Take water though

Fabulous hike!

We started at Aphrodites Bath and then took the nature trail to the Adonis trail, so went in a counter clockwise direction. This seems to be the expected path b/c there were kilometer markers from 1-6 in this direction. Final stretch is on a road, but it's very short. The trail is decently marked except in a couple of spots where you have to make some good judgement calls. Challenging trail, but not too hard for any of the five of us ranging in age from 13 - 58 who are not all particularly fit. Do need to bring enough water for the trip. Took us 3 hours and 20 minutes which included many rest breaks and we walked pretty slowly. There are so many wonderful spots to enjoy the view. Wildflowers were in full bloom and beautiful. Highly recommend this hike!

Stunning Views in scenic part of Cyprus
Mar 2019 • Couples
This 7.5km trail starts at the Baths of Aphrodite and walks into the hills giving fantastic views of the bay, with turquoise seas creating an idyllic scene. The route is reasonably well waymarked, but parts of it are tricky under foot so stout boots and ideally a stick are needed. At the end there is a cafe/ restaurant and toilets so a great day out.

A nice walk through beautiful trail

This is a very beautiful and quite easy, but long hiking trail. Suggest you to go there to get away from the city and see some spectacular views

Quite and great views
Feb 2019 • Solo
Great views from the high point. I went up to the fire lookout which I am not sure if it’s part of the trail but the view was amazing. Being February it was quite so only saw a couple of other people. Wild orchids and other wild flowers were blooming. Trail is fairly well marked and not too challenging.
