What an impressive place and the narrative about its occupants. Shame photos are precluded anywhere within the palace.

We were able to get to the palace in time for the changing of the guard. Which was pretty neat. Monaco is just so beautiful. Hit the little shops around the palace. There is some nice little restaurants tucked away. Take the walk down to...More

We did not pre-book for anything in Monaco during June and never queued for entry either. Without the the audio tour of the Prince's Palace, I think it may be a bit boring, but the commentary gave enough information to give meaning to what one...More

The changing of the guards was built up to be quite an event. There were probably 200 people there for the event that lasted all of 90 seconds - move to the other side of the square for fantastic views over Port Hercule instead!

We was here in July when it's hot. There is a stairway to the palace. Have water with you, it's very hot. Details of the palace and surroundings you can see on our Youtube Channel: Dan & Beka journey. ENJOY!

A must, you can't miss it in Monte-Carlo. Don't miss the guard-change too (11.45 about). Not very amazing for a Royal Palace, maybe for its modest look, but go and take a look. The are lots of nice shops to buy presents of your journey....More

Yes, the little village on top of the hill has some parking but I don't think just anyone can drive up there and park. We were on the Hop On/Off Bus.
