Did we miss something?! After entering the abbey we felt like we were back at the entrance in no time. The library and church were lovely but that seemed to be the whole of the interior, apart from some exhibitions in a few other rooms....More

You can't take pictures inside, but the building inside is totally different from outside. It looks like common church but inside the building is just the way too amazing. You must get the ticket and let the guide lead you with intro, you won't regret...More

If you go from Vienna to Salzburg its worth having 3km off road trip to visit this abbey.Really impressive.Free parking. Opens at 11:00.Best part its the library.

Melk Abbey is open every Sunday. From April to October you can visit the abbey with or without guided tour. From November to March you can make the visit only with a guided tour at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m.
