Very nice mini zoo to have a walk in. Although the size of the area and variety of the animals are limited, the atmosphere is overall green and nice, a good place to relax. Above all - its free!

The Tiergarten is a small park with some animals inside. Is nice for walking and spent some time in nature. If you visit Wels you must go there for sure!

Tiergarten is a jewel for Wels, it's free and has an impressive array of wildlife. The center has a playground and a restaurant. Lemurs are free to roam outside their enclosure. Highly recommended.

Their website looks better but the actual view is not very admirable. May be because there is no entree fee so I doubt how they keep up with all the expenses. But we were happy with the variety of species and exotic animals.
