Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the view! But not enough places to sit in the shadow - it was burningly hot!!! Nethertheless a great spot to visit in Graz

Climbing up to see this is part of the fun, and you’ll get lots of good shots on the way. When you’re done, keep walking around to see Schlossberg. It’s all free, and you can do this in the morning before everything else opens up.

Nice view. You can see Graz from above and the mountains. Historically important landmark. I would suggest the tourists to visit Uhrturm

There are three bells in it. The oldest ticked the hours, the second warned of fires, and the third rang during executions.
It is surrounded by trees and flowers. Be sure to visit.

There are a lot of steps on the way to the top here but the views over the city and the surrounding countryside make the effort worthwhile. You have panoramic views here and the grounds at the top are very beautiful.

Boiling hot day, so I got the lift up to Uhrturm. The cave/tunnel to the lift is pretty cool too.
Got to the top and realised how amazing this place is. The clock itself is unique, and the views over Graz are unreal.
Would definitely recommend to see this is you are visiting Graz. Also nice walks up the rest of Schlossberg with more amazing views. The walks are quite steep though, so make sure you have a good pair of shoes with you.

definitely worth the walk up the stairs or path to get to see the Uhrturm (clock tower) up close. you can go visit the Herbersteingarten from the clock tower or go have a coffee at Aiola Upstairs.
then continue up the hill to the top of the Schlossberg.

The location of this clock tower makes it stand "above" many others in the region (many clocktowers in this part of Europe are in Old Town squares--not on hills), but the clocktower itself is pretty cool.

You can reach it by lift or by stairs (260, I think?), or by concrete switchback walking path on the "back" side (the side farthest from the river; I guess it would be the east side?).
