There is good conditions for skiing even at April. Come early morning otherwise you will have troubles with parking and routes are crowded. It has sense between 9 and 11. Later heavy snow and to many peoples.

May be a little biased as we have an apartment out here, but I think Obertauern is my favourite resort I've ever been to. It's the perfect size of being large enough for variety, whilst still being able to know every route. It also tends...More

We're skiing in Obertauern every year for around a week and it's a perfect spot for us. Number of ski routes and lifts is perfect: not too small to bore us within a week, not to big to get lost. It would be a bit...More

Despite the inconvenient layout and short runs, we enjoyed the resort, mainly because of the proximity to Salzburg and the quality of snow. There is more to it than appears, judging by the almost useless ski map and the ski huts offer reasonable prices in...More

We loved it here! The nature is perfectly beautiful, slopes are of every kind and it´s big enough not to get bored if you´re staying 3-4 days. Kids loved the fairy tale forest route. One thing I missed was a lack of restaurants in the...More
