We loved this beach so much we are going back again this year, the area has many beautiful beaches and we preferred Traigh Hornais - turn to the left at the campsite , you can either clamber down the dunes or at low tide walk round from Traigh Lingeigh Typically for a Hebridean beach you will most likely have the... Lovely beach and great for the dogs to have a run. The colours are always changing bringing a new picture every few minutes. Easy walking.

Fabulous beach, miles of white sand and clear water and not a soul in sight. Fantastic views across to the islands. Great for a long brisk walk

Traigh Lingeigh Beach is, yet again, another stunningly beautiful beach in the Outer Hebrides. The sand sparkles and the water glistens with an amazing turquoise hue. If you happen to be near, make it a point to spend some time here.

I love this beach and have spent so many days walking here, with not another soul to be seen, this area with the many beaches are my idea of heaven, and on a sunny day there is nowhere else I would rather be. I just hope it remains the unspoiled paradise that it is. (please respect such beautiful places, when... More

This beach is definitely worth a visit, although there are equally beautiful, and significantly longer, ones on Berneray, Baleshare and at Sollas. All incredibly lovely and all virtually deserted when we visited in July.

Glorious stretch of white shell sand, palest green and turquoise water with distant views to Pabbay and the hills of Harris.Backed by dunes and usually deserted.Unspoilt.It really does rank close to Harris' beaches. There is a rough access track which you can drive down ok with care and a small picnic table. At lowest tide, it's possible to walk out to... More
