Have you just arrived? Or are you planning to come to one of the most beautiful cities in the world and want to see as much of it as you can? Did you grow up watching Julie Andrews and the von Trapp Family and are dying to see where those beloved scenes were filmed? Then this tour is for you! We, Salzburg’s only bicycle tour, charge less than the bus tours, but offer you so much more. We take you to places other tours will only show you from the road. We take you to locations buses can’t even reach. You don’t need to be a The Sound of Music fan, or even to have seen the film to love our tour!

Not just for Chicks!

We had a great time with Stephan on this fun bike tour through Salzburg. Good combination of Sound of Music and Salzburg history entertained women and men alike. Gave us the chance to get outside of Prague and into the countryside. Stephan was knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend!

Fabulous tour

Amazing city. What a relaxed informative tour. Went to lots of highlights from the film. Even acted a few bits too. Would recommend to anyone who wants to explore the city with the Sound of Music experience theme. Thank you.

Fun and interesting bike tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sound of Music tour.
The bikes were cool, the basket up front handy and I loved the little booklet on the basket with pictures of the sites the movie so you could compare it to the real thing.
Our guide was Johan whose English was excellent, explanations were clear and made the tour fun while keeping a close eye on our group .
The tour hits a lot of scenes from the movie along an easy bike path ( there is only one steep but doable ascent.)
Johan played music from the movie and it’s hilarious to be biking through the country side with this music on.
Even if you haven’t seen the movie it is still an interesting and fun bicycle tour as you get to see a lot of Salzburg Old Town and its surroundings.

Great tour.

Very enjoyable, would recommend. Johann was very informative, interesting, fun and went through safety carefully. Felt safe. Beautiful route with the stops well explained. We wouldn’t have thought to do this had it not been recommended to us by previous customers. Excellent tour.

The hills really were alive with the sound of music

What an amazing tour. I love The Sound of Music film and have wanted to visit the locations for a long time. Our guide Santino was so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything. The weather was perfect and I would highly recommend this tour.

Top experience for Sound of Music lovers

We enjoyed the bicycle tour very, very much! Our guide Santino was a superguide. He was very kind, expert on the Sound of Music and created a good group vibe. He remembered the names of the group members and their favourite Sound of Music songs. The musical movie most of us saw many times really came alive during this tour. We saw a lot of locations and heard unexpected stories! We saw part of the beautiful green countryside too. There were two stops to go to the toilet and fill your water bottle. Yes, it was a great experience!

Outstanding tour!

This was so much fun! Our tour guide Santino was very knowledgeable and energetic. He really made this tour memorable. We saw several sites in town and then rode through the countryside with the Sound of Music soundtrack playing along. I highly recommend this tour!

Great fun

Had a great time on this trip, our guide Mirella was very happy and knowledgeable, giving fun facts as well as the information about the locations. Bikes were good quality and cycle helmets supplied. Most of the route is cycle path and very easy on the legs, just 1 steep hill but you can get off and walk. Plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures and the heel click is a must (it just takes confidence), we’ll worth it. Enjoy the singalong 🚲 🎶
