As elaborate and stunning as the other churches are in Salzburg, you'll be surprised at how sparse St. Andra is. Still, it's a place for solemn reflection and solitude. If you don't have much time, you can skip this church.

Andra church is located in front of the Mirabell palace. Close to it is the bus station for the tours. It has 2 square towers. Inside it is ordinary.... not much of lavish design and paintings.

We saved this till the end of our day and it was worth it. As opposed to other places this was quiet, cool and relaxing. The stain glass and everything on the inside was beautiful. Well worth the stop and gather ones thoughts

Another beautiful church in the middle of Salzburg. The altar wall with the crucifix was a bit unusual, but very nice. (Our guide later told us that there are 38 churches in Salzburg!)

Not a very interesting church. To be fair though, it is more of a functional church rather than a tourist attraction. Also, they still had some Christmas decoration going in June! One wonders.
