Delightful church

We stopped here for a rest on our way up to the monastery and it was a delight - peaceful and beautiful. We did not stay long, but are glad we made the journey.

This church is on the way to Kapuziner Convent. It is very small but this is the only one church in Salzburg with Trompe-l'œil drawings (dome above the altar and on the walls).

As we we coming down the hill from the capuchin monastery we came upon this little church. There is only a little space inside, but it is highly decorated and quite beautiful. Well worth the visit.

A small but pleasant church situated part way up the Kapuzinerberg, which requires a climb up a set of steep steps. The church is quite small, and once inside there is an iron grill that blocks the way from fully exploring the church. There is even a CCTV camera placed on one of the pews pointing directly at visitors, perhaps... More

Access to the church is via a little staircase on the Linzergasse. The church is a about halfway up the steps, then keep going to be rewarded with amazing views over Salzburg. You get s completely different point of view from the Monchsberg Rock and it is lovely and quiet. Definitely worth the small climb.
