You can park your car for free at the nearby parking. We walked from the citycenter, but it,s a long walk (45 min.) There is also a bus from the marketplace in Innsbruck. It's a bit expensive to go to the top but the view...More

Awesome cable car ride to the top of the mountain. Well worth the expense. The view is amazing! On the way down, we stopped for a short visit to Seegrube to watch skiing and have a beer. Wonderful experience.

Great way to get to the top of the Austrian Alps. The station I got on at was right outside the zoo. Purchase the Innsbruck Pass as it will cover the Nordkette and other sights for a flat rate. The little train takes you part...More

We completed our trip up the Funicular Railway by using the cable car from Hungerburg to go further up the mountain. The views are spectacular and we had fun in the snow.

Made a random stop in Innsbruck and saw this and decided we’d go have a look! Man are the views breathtaking from the top! A few words of advice. One it’s crowded so be prepared for that. Two if it’s winter bring the right footwear...More

Check at your hotel to see if they have a discount coupon (the Ibis had one for 10% off). The ride from the centre is in two parts with a change of vehicle required. Once you're there, on a clear day you will have a...More

At the top, you can remain inside and see the view and eat. If you want to go outside it is essentially a ski area and can be windy. Strongly suggest you check weather forecast and head up on a clear day.
