Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We looked at the current exhibition by the artist Michael Armitage, which is really worth a look.
The building is also worth a visit.
The entrance fee is quite high at €12, but you can use the ticket for arrival (if you buy it online) and departure.

The weather was bad at the end of August 2023. There was a lot of rain and it was not inviting to visit the city of Bregenz. That's why we went to the Kunsthaus. The exhibition was beautiful, well-organized and invites you to visit it again.
Fortunately, the weather changed the next day and it became sunny and warm (or rather hot) for 10 days and we went around to the Silvretta Pass, to Lake Lünersee and around Lake Constance.
We can recommend everyone to go to Bregenz. It is a very beautiful city with a beautiful Kunsthaus, a beautiful city center and of course the Seeboulevard with its impressive Seebühne. This is an open-air theater for various performances.

When I heard this all glass+concrete building was built 20 years ago I was shocked: it looks like brand new. The design is amazing, something that has become a modern classic. It is the home of the Kunsthaus (House of the arts) and therefore there are always art shows being displayed here. Today I attended a contemporary chamber music concert and also was fascinated by the quality of the exhibitions on display. A must-see if you happen to be close to the Bodensee (Lake Constanz).

it was good museum designed by architect Peter Zomthor, I like the architecture. And installation on top floor was quite beautiful. However, if you interested in seeing many art works it is not enough I guess.

Created by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, this museum is among the greatest pieces of architecture the city has to offer. The ever changing exhibitions have already hosted high ranking artists such as Hirst, Lichtenstein, Richter, Weiwei and many more. It's an honor and definitely not to be taken for granted for such a small city to be the host of great artists like these, which should be appreciated even more by the visitors! Look at the exhibition currently on display and decide whether it is your cup of tea. The building itself is in the center and definitely worth to be seen from the outside!

The Kunsthaus Bregenz designed by the architect Peter Zumthor is a wonderful piece of architecture itself, notwithstanding the good shows that are usually installed. A must-visit for those interested in contemporary art and architecture.

Currently the artist Adrian Villar Rojas has an exhibition covering all 4 floors. Well worth a visit. An interesting concept stimulating thought and discussion. The museum has a café next to it for good food and drinks, so you can go out for a drink and then go back in. The entrance fee is 9 euros per person. Highly recommended.

We were so lucky to be in Bregenz whilst this exhibition was on, accompanied by two long films showing these used for a history of the crusades and the pillage of Contantinople. It was stunning and totally captivating.
