I went to Donauturm's restaurant with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary and it was absolutely stunning! The elevator takes you 170m high and here you have an amazing view of Vienna... breathtaking. Food is really really good, service is fast and professional and the price isn't so expensive (we took two "tower menu" and paid like 37 euros for... More

You may enjoy the restaurant which is slowly turning and look at Vienna 360 grad. Service is ok and the food is more for tourists. The view is the most important. You may go there also in the afternoon to have a coffee.

The viewing platform is wonderful, but having a cup of cappucino with a slice of sachatorte is a wonderful way of spending time at this place. The cake was wonderful, the coffee, well, it's Vienna and of course the coffee was wonderful, and having a circular view of Vienna was quite an experience.

... your time going there. It's far. The view isn't breathtaking. You can see the city from the Schonbrun.

The cafe below the restaurant is a good place to spend your time. Prices are fair and the apfelstrudel was by far the best (out of three, including the famous Tirolehof) I had in town!

We stopped off while we were doing the Big Bus tour. Viewing platform, a rotating coffee shop and restaurant. Its interesting. A bit dated. Coffee shop on the rotating platform serves mediocre and overpriced food/drink but its worth it for the views!

Tower which provides great views of the city. Access is by a glass topped lift. There is a restraunt at the top which we did not visit.

The first thing to note about the Donauturm is that it's a long way from the other city sights and the tourist bus takes forever to get there - the UBahn to Kaistermuhlen on the U1 line is much quicker and you just have a 10 minute walk through a pedestrianised area and across the park. We arrived intending to... More

It was a cold walk to get to the tower but was definitely worth it. There was an observation deck - but was too cold to go outside! The view is way better at the cafe so you can skip the observation deck and hit to the cafe when it's too cold out! Much to my surprise, the coffee and... More

Lovely trip to the outskirts of Vienna to a magnificent Park. This venue is excellent. & affords super views over the city in a slowly revolving restaurant. I seriously recommend this visit again off the beaten track. Good value except for the coffee which at €3.90 is overpriced.
