This place is the perfect Christmas market - more spacious and offers the same fare as other place, without getting constantly elbowed. Grab a sausage and a mulled wine, and just watch the people :)

Visited on Tuesday 10th October. We were on a guided tour which included this magnificent plaza and returned later to spend more time for a closer look.

A beautiful Platz surrounded by architecturally stunning museums, palaces and government buildings in the center of historical Vienna. The Christmas Market was lovely with festive booths full of handicrafts, good food, mulled wine, and Christmas ornaments. A wonderful start to our holiday celebration.

We loved the Christmas Market here. The backdrop of the surrounding buildings was stunning, then add fun stalls full of food, gifts and souvenirs. Very festive and fun.

We are in Vienna for four nights for Christmas and we carefully planned our time! After researching market options online, I’d opted not to visit the one here, but we were nearby and decided to walk through anyway. I’m so glad we did! Great setup....More

All of the center of Vienna is worth visiting. The buildings are beautiful and being kept in good order. You will want to photograph everything.
