The Cultural World Heritage Site of Schönbrunn Palace is Austria's most frequently visited tourist attraction. In the palace the residential and state rooms with their original furnishings and decorations convey an authentic impression of the imperial lifestyle. The park and gardens surrounding the palace make Schönbrunn in a unique synthesis of Baroque art as well as providing a convenient and highly popular recreational area for Vienna's population.

Would be rather strange to visit Vienna if for the first time to not see the Schonbrunn Palace. On a clear blue day walking around the Palace garden is already a treat without even walking into the palace, but if you have time and when...More

Go early. As in "Be there when they open" early. Ask for a tour time that is about 90 minutes after you arrive. Now you can tour the grounds when it is relatively cool then tour inside as the day starts to heat up. Choose...More

Schonbrunn was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. Well organized (you buy tickets that are for a set time so when you go through you aren't crowded and are able to enjoy the rooms), beautiful rooms and artwork, plenty of time to...More

I visited there around 10 AM and had to wait until noon to get the access to the palace. There were so many group tours and clouded. Classic Ticket to access some buildings costed 24 Euros/person. I really do not think it is worth for...More

The gardens are simply beautiful. The finest display of stunning roses in all colours. Manicured lawns and floral designs, fountains and statues complete these magnificent gardens. The entrance is free to the gardens but for a small fee you could get a tour of the...More

Go & do the classic tour for extra wow. Gardens are wonderful too. Money well spent. Do book online to avoid the queues & collect an audio guide

I didn’t have very high expectations before touring the palace. I thought it would be similar to Versailles. Overall, great experience! I would recommend getting the middle tour. I believe it is the classic and allows you entry for 40 rooms. Be sure to show...More

Iconic and beautiful palace both inside and out. Probably the most well-known sight in Vienna. Because of its size, expect an extended visit.

Only saw the exterior and gardens. But, they were magnificent!! Only reason we didn't go inside is that we hadn't purchased tickets ahead and there would have been a 4 hour wait between ticket purchase and entry to the palace.

Very nice palace featuring historical interiors. A little outside the city though not very far. Tip: book tickets in advance as it gets very crowded

I think they have two lines. One to purchase ticket, and another for ticket holders.
