A must see when you are traveling to Vienna. Book tickets online so you have a set time for entry. We went at 8:30 and very happy we arrived before the crowds. Views are just amazing.

Spent a short time in Schonbrunn palace. Beautiful and enchanting. I would rate it as high as Versailles. Though I spent a short time I would recommend atleast half a day. It's amazingly well conserved . Great attempt to reconstruct the times of that age....More

We had a guided tour and it was very interesting to learn the history of the Hofburg family. Palace rooms are extremely impressive and ornate. I thought it was not as impressive as Versailles or Catherine summer palace in St. Petersburg but still worth the...More

The ‪Schönbrunn Palace‬ is absolutely worth the hype. We've purchased the Classic Pass ticket for 24 euro each, which includes a visit to the palace itself, Privy Garden, Orangery Garden, Gloriette and the maze. My tip is to purchase tickets in advance, preferably to the...More

Must visit. Huge palace with horse carriages that carry you tens of years ago. It was a visit by me and my adult sister but that wasn’t one of the options to select from. We enjoyed it very much.

Didn't get the chance to go inside the Palace which is a shame as we were part of a group with limited time. However we did tour the gardens and they are huge and full of character. Must visit in Vienna.

One of the most beautiful palaces that I have seen. This palace is little outside city-center, you will have to take metro/tram to get here. try to get early, get a ticket that covers all the attractions, get an audio-guide. Start with Palace itself, audio...More

Great tour of the facility. We used the audio tour devices. These were easy to use as you just punch in the number for the room you’re in and it will play the audio for you. This had some very good and interesting information. Unfortunately,...More

Similar to Versaille, Schonbrunn Palace was the summer home of the Hapsburgs. Worth a walk through. I would suggest upgrading from the Imperial Tour to the Grand Tour (I think that's the name). A few Euros more and you see quite a few additional rooms.

Vienna’s 13th district has always been in the shadow
of Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens, but has
interesting hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Allow half a day for the imposing Habsburg residence
and the gardens with Gloriette belvedere. Reserve the
other half to discover the secret charms of this posh
residential neighbourhood. Sneak out of the gardens at
Hietzinger Tor (Hietzing Gate) and head down
