Spent a few hours at the Leopold Museum and enjoyed every moment. Worth the admission fee. Loved the 'guided tour' although not necessary as exhibits are interpreted in English and German. Enjoy

Our first visit to Vienna, in order to see the highly advertised 2018 Klimt 100 Years Anniversary Exhibition at the Leopold Museum. We didn’t doubt for a minute that this highly trumpeted exhibition will be exactly as promoted – a gathering, for the occasion, of...More

We visited to see the Klimt but came away very impressed and much more knowledgable about Egon. The paintings are arranged thematically and show the stages of his career well. A superbly curated exhibition that was a much welcomed surprise in an otherwise predictable and...More

An amazing collection of artworks, well presented and very accessible. It also had a nice cafe where one can enjoy a good range of food and refreshments.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit today to the Leopold Museum. It's an easy, accessible museum (so if you have someone who isn't keen of museums, this is a very palatable museum). There was a wonderful exhibit on Gustav Klimt and his protege Egon Schiele and...More

Leopold Museum not only offers the finished paintings of Egon Schiele & Gustav Klimt, but also the sketchbooks, diaries and biographies, so you have a fuller understanding of the process. It also proved less crowded than the Belvedere, but more interesting works.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
